Long-time collectors might remember that this isn’t Aardman’s first appearance on a UK coin.

2019 UK Wallace and Gromit 50p

Back in 2019, The Royal Mint celebrated the 30th anniversary of A Grand Day Out with a special Wallace and Gromit 50p. Designed by Wallace and Gromit creator Nick Park, the coin featured the famous duo inside their homemade rocket.

The coin proved hugely popular with collectors and has since completely SOLD OUT at The Royal Mint.
